Good News! The Salvatorians Now Offer Charitable Gift Annuities...
With a charitable gift annuity, you may find you're able to make a much larger gift to the Salvatorians than you previously thought possible.
Why? Because with a gift annuity, you receive in return a guaranteed income for life.
"How does a charitable gift annuity work?" A donor makes a gift, either of cash or appreciated securities, to the Society of the Divine Savior. In return, the Salvatorians guarantee that the donor, for the remainder of his or her life, will receive a fixed income from that gift.
This income derives from both interest and principal and is paid to the donor on an annual or semi-annual basis, depending on the original value of the gift.
"Is my gift tax deductible?" A charitable gift annuity offers two tax advantages:
1. A tax deduction at the time of the gift; and
2. A certain portion of the income is likewise tax free.
"What is the minimum required to fund a charitable gift annuity?"
A minimum gift of $1,000.00 may fund a gift annuity with the Salvatorians.
